Position Title: Explosives Recognition Technician

Job Description
A highly respected NY City based security firm announces an opportunity for experienced Explosives Recognition Technicians. Candidates must possess law enforcement or military experience in Explosives Recognition and X-Ray Interpretation. Retired law enforcement or military personnel preferred.

Hazardous Materials Technician certification is a plus. Applicants must be a graduate of the U.S. Department of Justice, FBI Hazardous Devices School or the U.S. Department of Defense, Explosive Ordnance Disposal School.

If selected, applicants would work in an Emergency Operations Center utilizing remote x-ray screening technology in conjunction with various x-rays or under vehicle imaging systems, providing our clients instant access to an experienced Bomb Technician for resolution of any concerns over suspicious packages entering their facilities.

# Experience must possess bomb squad experience
Salary Information
Entry Level Salary: $35 hourly
Top Pay: $35 hourly
